After completing Steps 1-3 on the Bridal page, take a moment to truly envision a look that feels like you—an elevated version of your everyday inspiration look. In my years as a bridal glam expert, I’ve seen brides wrestle with looks that stray from their personal style, only to wish they’d stayed true to what they know and love. Finding someone who has similar facial features and tones as you can assist in this search immensely. My advice is resolute: avoid anything completely foreign on your wedding day. Embrace a beauty that feels like authentic, timeless, and effortlessly to you.

Bridal Preview

How you show up to your preview truly matters. Have you ever tried on clothes but couldn’t quite envision the full look because your hair or makeup wasn’t done? For your bridal preview, I suggest wearing neutral tones or the colors you’ll have on your wedding day. Some ladies leave their previews thinking it will be an exact replica of their wedding day look. It absolutely could be! But also, a preview gives you the opportunity to make adjustments. To really capture the vision, I love when KYM brides schedule their hair and makeup trials the same day as their dress fitting—seeing everything come together in real time is priceless. Preview  can be scheduled Monday- Wednesday. Its important to follow up with me and discuss notes and anything you may have noticed.

For each wedding guest,  45-60 minutes is recommended  for makeup services, with 75-90 minutes dedicated to the bride. Timelines are designed around the arrival of the  photographer and the shot list, ensuring a seamless transition. Once your coordinator provides a tentative schedule 4- 6 weeks in advanced, I’ll craft a custom glam timeline for your day. If timelines are submitted under four weeks, I will provide a timeline that works for my team and I. It is vital that you verify access to your getting ready venue. The more people you have, the more time or artist you'll need. If timelines are submitted the week of or the day of your wedding, they may be considered and honored based on  the availability of your glam team.

Your hair and scalp deserve the same care and attention as a meticulously curated skincare routine. Think of your hair as a flourishing garden—without regular nourishment, hydration, and balance, your “garden” struggles to thrive. Here’s how to nurture your hair to ensure it’s healthy, radiant, and ready for any style:

  •  Trim Those Ends
Split ends don’t just ruin the look of your hair; they weaken its structure. Frail, fried, and frizzy hair is resistant to holding curls or any polished style. A fresh trim is non-negotiable—it’s the foundation of strong, healthy hair.
  • Scalp Spa
Forget the social media hype around piling heavy oils like Moroccan or coconut oil onto your hair daily. While these oils can provide temporary shine, overuse leads to buildup and suffocates your scalp. Like a garden needs airflow and light, your scalp thrives when free of excess oil and debris. Invest in proper scalp cleansers and exfoliation for a true reset.
  •  Steam Treatment
Hydration is the holy grail of hair care, and steaming is your secret weapon. This treatment allows water molecules to deeply penetrate the hair shaft, reducing frizz and restoring softness. It’s a luxurious, effective way to revive dull hair and lock in moisture.
  •  Salon-Grade Products
Not all products are created equal. Salon-grade formulas are crafted to meet specific hair needs, delivering superior results that drugstore brands simply can’t replicate. Investing in the right products tailored to your hair type can mean the difference between lackluster locks and vibrant tresses.

Prioritize your hair care with these essential steps, and you’ll cultivate a foundation of strength and beauty—just like tending to the perfect garden

What goes in must come out," as they say. There’s no better time to prioritize skin-friendly practices through mindful diet, targeted skin treatments, a clean environment, and plenty of rest. mindful diet, targeted skin treatments, a clean environment, and plenty of rest. As much as I love food, whenever I indulge in sugar, dairy, gluten, eggs, or processed treats—basically anything my skin hates—it shows up right on my face.  Consider transforming your skin 6 - 12 months before your wedding. Here are a few skin care brands and services that I recommend are Zo, La Roche-Posay, Medika8, Caudalie, Tatcha, Lancome, and Kiehls
  • Dermaplaning (removes dead skin and excess hair/fuzz) If you’re not a newbie to this treatment, 1-2 weeks before your wedding is my suggestive time period to receiving this service. However, If you are a newbie to dermaplaning, I would first give this an initial trial months before the wedding to see how your skin reacts. If you have dry - rosacea skin this could cause some sensitivity.
  • Hydrafacials (combination of exfoliation and infusing hydration )
  • Microneedling (helps produce more collagen and elastin while also minimizing the appearance of scars)
  • Chemical exfoliation/peels (uses AHAs + BHAs to exfoliate the skin while adding hydration or antibacterial properties)
  • WAX - WAX THOSE BROWS
  • TANNNNNNNN!!!!!!
  • TEETH WHITING
